What kind of photo works best?
One pet, facing the camera, with the whole head and both ears in the shot. Use an original photo from your camera roll, not a screenshot. Good light helps; we check every photo and tell you if something is off.
How long does it take?
Previews develop in under a minute. A video usually takes a minute or two. You can close the app while it renders: it’ll be waiting in your reel.
Is it free?
Previews are free (up to 2 sets of three a day as a guest, 6 when you’re signed in): three watermarked stills of your pet, so you can pick a favorite. Sign in with Apple and your first video is on us.
A video didn’t turn out. Now what?
If a video fails to develop, it doesn’t use up your free video: it’s given back automatically, and you can tap Try again in your reel. Not in love with a preview? Re-roll it (twice per take, free).
Can I use it for any pet?
Cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and most other pets with a visible face. One pet per photo works best.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Me → Delete account. Your photos, previews, videos and account details are deleted from our servers right away, and if you used Sign in with Apple we ask Apple to revoke Petclip’s access. You can also delete a single video from your reel. No access to the app any more? Write to us and we’ll help. Details: privacy policy.
I got a new phone. Where are my videos?
Sign in with the same Apple ID on the new phone: your reel comes along. As a guest, your reel stays with the device, so sign in before you switch. Saving a video to Photos keeps a copy forever.
What happens to my photos?
We use your photo only to make your previews and videos, with Google’s AI models (Gemini and Veo). We don’t sell your data or show ads. More in the privacy policy and the terms.
